Farmer Wants a Wife: Could Farmer Ben Be Kiani's Soulmate?

Farmer Wants a Wife — AKA my favourite Australian dating show — is back in full swing, and this year’s farmers might just take the cake. They’re all such catches!

This season, we’re following Farmer Ben, 27, from Wingham, NSW, Farmer Harry, 24, from Kyabram, VIC, Farmer Will, 26, from Berriwillock, VIC, Farmer Benjamin, 33, from Guyra, NSW, and Farmer Paige — the show’s first female farmer — who’s 28 and from Cassilis, NSW.

Now Farmer Wants a Wife wouldn’t be Farmer Wants a Wife without some midseason intruders, and that’s exactly what experience farmer’s wife and guest host Sam Armytage has in store for this year’s farmers.

One of Farmer Ben’s newcomers is 24-year-old beauty therapist Kiani, from NSW.

Kiani has always believed in soulmates, and thinks a lifelong partner is just as important as a stable career. She sees the qualities she’s looking for, in Farmer Ben.

“I feel Ben and I have very similar morals and ideas of love,” she says in a press statement. “He likes to have fun and has a good sense of humour. I think we could have the foundations there to build something special.”

She also likes the idea of being a stepmum.

“He has a daughter, and I feel quite maternal myself. I loved the way he spoke about her, I just thought it was beautiful.”

But, does Farmer Ben feel the same way? With one already super strong connection, is it wise to bring more women into the house?
