Farmer Wants a Wife: Is Rommi Finally Going to Get Her Date With Farmer Harry?

Farmer Wants a Wife — AKA my favourite Australian dating show — is back in full swing, and this year’s farmers might just take the cake. They’re all such catches!

This season, we’re following Farmer Ben, 27, from Wingham, NSW, Farmer Harry, 24, from Kyabram, VIC, Farmer Will, 26, from Berriwillock, VIC, Farmer Benjamin, 33, from Guyra, NSW, and Farmer Paige — the show’s first female farmer — who’s 28 and from Cassilis, NSW.

One of the girls that is still vying for a love connection with Farmer Harry is Rommi, 24-year-old retail manager from NSW.

According to Rommi, she is the perfect candidate for his heart.

“My whole life I have had an unhealthy obsession for all things country,” she says, in a press statement.

“Growing up, I loved my grandparents’ farm more than anything else and I’m hoping to extend that love to a country man. I have always pictured myself settling down on a farm with the love of my life and hopefully this is the start of that journey.”

She also says that being a city girl, it can be hard to meet the country man of your dreams… unless you go on Farmer Wants a Wife. Food for thought, TBH.

Looking to find someone who understands themselves and is ready for love, Rommi sees a lot of what she likes in Farmer Harry.

“I think I could keep him in check when he wanted to be. He seems lovely and gentle, which I find endearing, and I love that he wants to learn from his partner as that’s a huge part of a relationship that I would like as well.”

Although Rommi hasn’t had that all-too-important one-on-one time with the show’s youngest farmer yet, her honest intentions and bubbly persona are sure to set Farmer Harry’s sights on her soon — especially after speaking her mind at the bonfire.
