“MAFS” 2024 Recap: Tori Declares She’s “Top of the Food Chain”

Alright, buckle up for the latest drama at the dinner party — we’re in for a wild night. This week has been a rollercoaster for our “MAFS“couples. So, Lucinda’s dad drops some truth bombs, and suddenly Timothy’s crush on Lucinda is reaching new heights. But uh-oh, Timothy’s recent antics at the commitment ceremony have caught Jayden’s attention. Jayden’s out here thinking Timothy’s not treating Lucinda right and is leading her on. And let me tell you, Timothy’s not thrilled about Jayden’s two cents, especially because he’s still fuming about being called out by a “kid” under 30.

Lets dive into this “MAFS” recap for episode 20.

Jayden and Timothy Go Head-to-Head

At the Cocktail Party, while some are ready to forgive (or at least try), Jayden’s on a mission. He’s cornering Jack and Tori to air his concerns about Timothy and Lucinda. But okay, why is Jayden acting like they need his help? Lucinda’s a grown woman, she can handle her own love life.

Then, Jayden goes straight to Lucinda herself, asking her what’s up with Timothy this week. Lucinda’s all like, ‘We’re exploring some stuff’, and Jayden’s like, ‘Girl, you deserve better’. Cue Timothy overhearing everything and getting all hot under the collar.

At dinner, it’s on! Timothy’s giving Jayden the side-eye, and before you know it, they’re going at it. Timothy’s accusing Lucinda of throwing him under the bus, and Jayden’s not holding back either.

The argument reaches a boiling point when Jayden asserts the validity of his advice, citing his near-perfect relationship. Timothy is seething with frustration and lashes out, demanding Jayden come back in three years when he’s gained some life experience.

“You’ll have nothing in life, you’re a grandstander, you have been since day one,” Timothy fumes.

In a fit of rage, Timothy slams his fist on the table, sending Lauren’s wine flying. Amidst the chaos, Lucinda is fiercely protective of Timothy and stands up for him. She acknowledges their relationship’s growth, but also makes it clear she isn’t thrilled with his behaviour. Timothy is softened by her words and finally relents, but notes that only Lucinda has the right to call him out.

Tori Has a Lot to Say This Week, Surprisingly

Something that really surprises us at this dinner party is how much Tori has to say when the cameras aren’t aimed at her relationship.

While Timothy is busy praising Lucinda, Tori isn’t buying it. Nope, not one bit. Tori shoots Timothy a look and straight-up tells him he looks smug, which stirs up trouble for no good reason. In fact, she goes as far as to say that if Jack spoke like that, her “foot would go down his throat”. Timothy calls out Tori’s hypocrisy, and quickly reminds her about Jack telling Jono to “muzzle” his wife the week prior. Yes, Timothy, thank you for saying what we are all thinking!

As tensions rise, Cassandra tries to ease the situation by suggesting that Timothy’s expression is just his natural face. But Tori isn’t having it and takes aim at Cass.

“Don’t Tell Me What I F**king Said”

“Small bites, babe. Don’t come for the top, I’m sorry, there’s a f**king food chain here and you’re not at the top… Shut up,” Tori says.

But when Cass stands her ground against Tori’s fiery attitude, Tori sees red.

“He wasn’t even doing anything then you all just kicked off on him. His face is just his face.”

“Don’t tell me what I f**king said,” Tori claps back.

Clearly rattled, Tori is fuming and repeats “Don’t tell me what I said” as Jack tries to comfort her. Oh, the irony. Such a small, off the cuff comment has Tori so angry that she wants to just leave the dinner party right then and there.

Oh, we’re on the edge of our seats for the next commitment ceremony.
