Australia’s favourite social experiment returns for yet another season full of next-level drama on Monday, January 29 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
A New Direction for “MAFS” 2024?
Known for its intense drama and heated conflicts, “MAFS” might be taking a new trajectory in 2024. As filming is currently in progress for the upcoming 10th season, Adrian Swift, Nine’s content, production and development head, has unveiled in a recent interview that the show’s direction has been altered.
“We have tried to move away from the screechy and the shouting,” he told the Herald Sun.
“We still give it all the drama that it needs, but we’ve tried to absolutely make sure all the relationships we see genuine potential in.
“This year what we have tried to do really carefully, exhaustively, is go, ‘Is this right?’
“There will still be those moments when [brides and grooms] take one look [at each other] and it all goes south, but we are hoping that there is a lot of love in this season.”

“MAFS” 2024 Weddings First Look
Filming of the 11th season of “MAFS” is in full swing, and we have your first look at what to expect from the new season. Fans are in for a treat with an entirely fresh cast of new contestants, with two weddings having already taken place.
The first wedding took place in July and photos obtained by The Wash have provided a sneak peek into the emotional rollercoaster that awaits the viewers. The enchanting setting for the wedding was at Swifts, an opulent $60 million heritage-listed gothic mansion nestled in Sydney’s Darling Point.
The couple appeared to be in high spirits, sharing laughter and a kiss at the altar. But of course, we all know that things can change very quickly.
The excitement continued the next day, with the second wedding on Maroubra Beach. The candid shots captured the couple seemingly at ease with each other, signalling a promising start to their journey as husband and wife. Their connection during the ceremony has already set the bar high for the potential success of their match.
And it looks like the rumours are true, with Jayden Eynaud, brother of Season 9 contestant Mitch Eynaud, having filmed his wedding just last week. Jayden wore a black suit and tie with his long hair tied in a man bun, while his ‘wife’ stunned in her white gown adorned with floral detail and sheer panels.
