Not long after dazzling at the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet in a set of matching silver dresses, tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams commanded another red carpet at the 33rd Producers Guild Awards. Clad in statement gowns, the sisters turned heads at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on March 19.
Styled by Jason Bolden, Serena transformed into a vision of Old Hollywood glamour in a burgundy ensemble. Created by CD Greene, the look comprised an embellished plunging top and a body-sculpting velvet miniskirt. A pink waist sash flowed into a train that trailed behind her.
Keeping the focus on the eye-catching design, Serena kept the accessories relatively minimal with a pair of rubellite and white enamel earrings by David Webb and clear pointy heels by Voyetté. Serena’s sleek blonde hair was parted over to one side of her face, allowing her look to shine.
Meanwhile, Venus, dressed by Law Roach, also brought the glam in a white strapless textured column gown by Atelier Versace, showcasing a round neckline, vertical lines along the sides and front, and an alluring thigh-high split. Combined with her hair, which was styled into a short bob featuring a bang across her face, the ensemble looked regal and elegant. A pair of sparkly pendant earrings and open-toe heels added to the glamour.
The Williams sisters joined Will Smith at the ceremony to celebrate their acclaimed biographical sports movie titled “King Richard,” which was nominated for the prestigious Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures.
