Kristen Stewart’s fashionable award season takeover continues. The Oscar-nominated “Spencer” star attended the Producers Guild Awards on March 19 wearing a dress fit for her and fiancée Dylan Meyer’s upcoming wedding. Taking a break from her usual go-to designer, Chanel, she instead wore a Brandon Maxwell gown that debuted on the fall 2022 runway at New York Fashion Week last month. Selected by stylist Tara Swennen, the strapless, cream-colored number features a sheer, corseted bodice and quilted skirt that skims the ground, and she added subtle sparkle with a gold pavé diamond ring by Cast Jewellery.
During the Producers Guild Awards ceremony, all eyes were on Stewart’s romantic gown when she took the stage to present an award to the production team behind “CODA.” Tons of other stars were in attendance at the event, including Issa Rae, who stunned in a custom green Aliètte dress, and “Squid Game” actor HoYeon, who wore a sparkly black Louis Vuitton minidress and sandals. Venus and Serena Williams also walked the red carpet together in Atelier Versace and CD Greene, respectively.
Stewart’s look is the latest in a string of stylish outfits she’s worn this award season. At the Critics’ Choice Awards last week, she made her red carpet debut with Meyer in a shimmering, champagne-coloured gown, and earlier this month, she served as honourary chair at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in a white sequined Chanel jumpsuit. And let’s not forget her Oscar Nominees Luncheon outfit: a straight-off-the-runway Chanel jacket with embellished sleeves and silk pants. We can hardly wait to see what the actor will rock at the Oscars on March 27 – perhaps she’ll take a break from neutrals and go for something colourful.
Read ahead to take a closer look at the sheer detailing on Stewart’s angelic, wedding-ready gown on the Producers Guild Awards red carpet.
