Rosalía is flipping the script on date-night dressing. Following her headlining performance at weekend one of Coachella, the singer stepped out for dinner at Craig’s in Los Angeles with fiancé Rauw Alejandro on April 18. Sartorially referencing their joint single “Vampiros,” Rosalía stuck with a sultry red and black color scheme, pairing a vintage velvet Vivienne Westwood corset with black Adidas sweatpants that slung low around her hips.
The most unexpected addition was her footwear, a pair of distressed denim I.Am.Gia. mules with a wooden platform and heel. The slip-on shoe has long been a divisive pick, but she made a strong case for giving the Y2K trend a chance.
As for the rest of her look, Rosalía kept the accessories to a minimum, simply wearing one small hoop earring and leaving her diamond engagement ring at home. She wore her hair in a ponytail with face-framing pieces, had a spiky red manicure that matched her top, and finished with red ombré lipstick. Meanwhile, Alejandro wore baggy jeans with a white top, green bomber jacket, black loafers, and chain necklace.
On the Coachella stage a few days prior, Rosalía sang hits like “Motomami” and “La Noche de Anoche” in a custom-made Area outfit featuring black leather separates layered under a sheer pink duster covered in ruffles. Alejandro also came out for a surprise cameo wearing a coordinating all-leather outfit. These two definitely have the whole couple style thing down to a science.
