The Bachelorette Australia is set to air its Grand Finale tonight (Nov. 25) which means, only two contestants remain. On Wednesday night, a fan favourite was sent home and while viewers couldn’t help but feel devastated, Holly is living her best life — with contestant Millie!
Yes, you read right. Holly, a frontrunner from the very beginning is in a relationship with Millie, who was eliminated last week from the dating show.
Holly and Brooke immediately hit it off when they first crossed paths, but soon, things began to fall apart. For one, Brooke openly admits to wanting children, something Holly doesn’t see in her future.
In the last episode before the final, Brooke decided to let Holly go, and now, the dancer spoke to POPSUGAR Australia and told us about her relationship with Millie and whether she has any regrets about her time on the show.
POPSUGAR Australia: Tell us, what made you apply for The Bachelorette?
Holly Langford: My twin sister and a good friend of mine sent me the link saying Brooke was going to be The Bachelorette. And I had watched a bit of her season, and I knew just a little bit about her from her media presence, and I could see myself ending up with her. So I thought, why not have a crack?
PS: Do you have any regrets about your time on the show? Would you do anything differently?
HL: Not at all. I went in just wanting to be myself and I did that and stayed true to who I am.
PS: When you were eliminated how did you feel about Brooke at that point?
HL: I had really strong feelings for Brooke, I was definitely starting to fall for her. Although it wasn’t an easy conversation to have, I feel like we would have been way more heartbroken if we realised the things we realised later on down the track.
PS: A lot of people thought you would be the winner in the end. Were you surprised to find out your time was up or were you expecting it?
HL: I think Brooke and I were both shocked. We obviously missed a few steps in our conversations or just have not reached those types of conversations. Getting to the very end when you’re having these deep feelings for someone was hard.
PS: I have to ask, is it true you’re now dating Millie from the mansion?
HL: I am! Yes!
PS: Congratulations! How did that come about? Did you have feelings for her while in the mansion? Or did it all happen afterwards?
HL: No, it was all afterwards! In the mansion, everyone’s sole focus is Brooke. Like I said, I was starting to have really deep, strong feelings for her. But coming out, I caught up with a lot of the contestants from Sydney, and we started heading out, and it was just a really natural progression from there.
PS: Who do you think will be the last person standing?
HL: I’m not sure! It’s funny, both Darvid and Jamie were my two best friends in the house. Jamie is the most considerate person I know, and I haven’t got one bad thing to say about Darvid. I think I’m going to be happy with either outcome.
PS: Finally, what’s up next for you?
HL: Not sure yet! I’m moving house on the weekend, so that’s probably my next big step. We’ll see what 2022 holds.
