Rejoice, Selling Sunset fans! If you’re like us and you can’t get enough of the reality series, there’s yet another spinoff cooking, and it might be coming your way sooner than you think. Titled Selling the OC, the show will follow the real estate mogul Jason Oppenheim and the happenings behind his elite real estate firm The Oppenheim Group’s new Newport Beach, CA, branch. The super-bingeable hit Netflix reality show lets the audience in on the inner workings of luxury real estate professionals, but not without a healthy dose of drama. In November 2021, the Selling Sunset producers announced that fans would be treated to not one but two spinoff shows of the series – Selling Tampa and Selling the OC. What Is Selling the OC About?
Coming from the creators of Selling Sunset, Selling the OC will chart the professional and personal trajectories of successful real estate mavens as they sell high-end properties in Orange County. While there is going to be a change of landscape and a gorgeous new office setting brimming with endless possibilities, the fans can take it to the bank that there is bound to be some drama simmering as the agents try to broker luxe real estate to affluent buyers. It’s your average corporate politics and compelling conflicts served with a hefty side of elegant real estate locations. Did we say we’re excited already? Because that is an understatement!

When Will Selling the OC Be on Netflix?
At the time of the Selling the OC announcement in November 2021, it was revealed production had already begun on the show. As of now, however, there’s no official release date tied to the project. Considering that Selling Sunset is churning out seasons with a relatively small gap (less than a year) between each installment, it’s very likely Selling the OC will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2022 – most likely the first half of the year.

How Many Episodes Are in the First Season of Selling the OC?
Although the streamer hasn’t unveiled how many episodes there will be of Selling the OC, based on Selling Sunset‘s first three seasons and its spinoff Selling Tampa, which all had eight episodes each, Selling the OC will likely have a similar season length of around eight episodes.
