Here’s How “Queen Charlotte” Connects to “Bridgerton”

Young Charlotte’s journey is at the center of “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.” Viewers not only get to watch her grapple with marrying King George III against her will, but they also see how she grows to love him and steps into her role as queen while finding her voice as a ruler. The love that flourishes between her and King George III becomes the catalyst for the societal changes in the ton viewers are familiar with from “Bridgerton.” The series also gives additional insight into the beginnings of Charlotte’s relationships with other key characters, like Brimsley and Lady Danbury.
