May 20 is shaping up to be a great day in 2022 with the news that Harry Styles will be releasing his third album Harry’s House.
While we don’t know a huge amount about the new release, we do know that it will feature 13 new tracks of Styles-goodness. The former One Direction singer also shared the album cover art on Instagram which shows him scratching his chin standing on the ceiling of an upside-down living room.
Styles also posted a mysterious video to YouTube which sees him walking onto a theatre stage and smiling as a house facade is raised around him.
Styles’ last album was 2019’s Fine Line which came out in December of that year and spawned the hit singles “Adore You,” which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard charts and was certified four-times platinum, and “Watermelon Sugar,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard and went five-times platinum.
His self-titled debut album was released in 2017 and reached number one in several countries, including Australia, the UK and the US.
In addition to his upcoming new album, Styles has also been getting deeper into the acting game, taking on the lead role in Don’t Worry Darling opposite Florence Pugh. The film, which is due for a late 2022 release, was directed by Olivia Wilde who Styles has now been dating for over a year.
The plot of the film centres on an unhappy housewife in the 1950s who discovers a disturbing truth, while her loving husband hides a dark secret.
Prior to appearing in Don’t Worry Darling, he made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 war film Dunkirk.
Styles has won two Brit Awards, a Grammy Award, an Ivor Novello Award, and an American Music Award and was the first man to ever grace the cover of Vogue.
