Australian Survivor: Simon Mee’s Bitter Betrayal Has Made Him Think Twice About the Game
Simon Mee was the first “Australian Survivor” contestant to be blindsided with two Idols before merge. Now, he’s returned as a Castaway on “Heroes Vs Villains” looking for redemption.
His elimination from “Brains Vs Brawn” was a brutal betrayal but he did say in a 2021 interview that he saw the experience of being blindsided by his own alliance as “a real compliment”.
And being a certified fanboy of the franchise, Mee is probably pretty pleased to be part of “Australian Survivor” history. However, audiences (us included) hope he’s learned to use his Idols before it’s too late.
He admitted that after failing in his previous attempt due to his arrogance and ego, he’s determined to play a different game and keep his ego in check. Mee sees this as an opportunity to reconsider his gameplay. He believes that his self-awareness is his strength, and he’s going to use that to his advantage.
As a natural leader in the real world, Simon wants to embrace his dark side and step back from that role. He’s excited to be a Villain and bring Survivor to life because he believes very strongly that without Villains, the game would be boring. Simon is looking forward to unleashing his full potential this time and not making the same mistakes he made before.
Will Simon escape the burn of another blindside? Find out on “Australian Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains” on 10 and 10 Play on Demand to find out!
