Attn All Lululemon Fans, You Need These $41 Amazon Dupe Tights in Your Closet ASAP

If you’ve ever been on the hunt for comfy leggings, you’ve probably scrolled or strolled through Lululemon’s options with cute styles, pretty colours and buttery soft materials. But you probably quickly realised how expensive they can be, with most pairs costing upwards of $100.

So, when we heard through the grapevine (aka TikTok) that an Amazon brand was selling Lululemon-like leggings at an affordable price, we just had to try them.

Two members of the POPSUGAR Australia team tested out the CRZ YOGA Naked Feeling High Waist Tummy Control Sport Leggings (now $41, was $61.99) from Amazon to see how they compared to other Lululemon faves.

So… what’s the verdict?

As someone who lives in activewear on my off days, I know it well. And there are a few key things I always look out for. They need to be comfy, squat-proof and not fold at the waist when I sit down. This Lululemon dupe hits the brief.

The only other Lulu product I own is the Align Seamless Shorts, and I wear those all the time, in and out of the gym. So, when I first got this pair, I was a bit skeptical about the material because they looked a bit thinner in comparison. But when I put them on, I couldn’t really tell the difference. They’re smooth, form-fitting and give off barely-there energy.

And the best thing? The side pockets! I hate putting my phone on the ground at the gym (because germs, you know) but now I can just chuck it in one of the pockets and I’m good to go.

I’m obsessed with Lululemon and own so many pairs of its leggings. They’re all super soft and feel like a second skin. These though — wow! They look really similar to my Fast and Free Lulu tights, though without the 3 dots at the ankle and logo.

Pulling leggings out of my drawer before Pilates, I often don’t know which I’m grabbing — these Amazon or actual Lulu. I do have to say, though, that Lulu tights are a great investment. If anything happens to them, you can bring them into the store and they’ll either fix them or swap them for a new pair. But, at over $100 per tight, they are definitely expensive.

So, bottom line: if you’re looking for a more affordable dupe for now, grab these tights from Amazon. If you have the cash to splash, though, I’d say go for the Lulu tights – they are so worth it.
