Meet the Men and Women Vying for Brooke Blurton’s Love on The Bachelorette
We’re counting down to the premiere of The Bachelorette, with the historic season kicking off on Wednesday, October 20. With the show set to air in just a few short days, Channel 10 have released the full list of contestants, and for the very first time, both men and women will enter the mansion. Brooke Blurton is the franchise’s first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette, and fans could not be more excited.
We were first introduced to the 26-year-old on Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor, where she was a top contender until she famously quit the series right before the finale. She then tried her luck at Bachelor In Paradise, and now, because the third time’s a charm, she is on the quest for love by being The Bachelorette.
It’s been a long journey, but we’re certain she’ll manage to find the one this time around. I mean, it’ll be quite hard not to with 16 men and women all fighting for a place in her heart. “Being The Bachelorette, I get teary, I get emotional, I get goosebumps,” she said in a trailer for the show. “Because I’m the first Indigenous, bisexual Bachelorette, the barriers that have been broken just by doing this, I think it’s huge.”
Speaking to POPSUGAR Australia, Brooke said the opportunity to front the show came at “the perfect time” and said at the end of the day, she’s just going to focus on being herself. Whether she found her person is yet to be seen, but the reality TV star said each contestant was different in their own special way.
“I think every participant is so unique and has such a different quality about them that I liked. For me, obviously, it’s about a bigger package and I’m looking for my person. But everyone had the most amazing qualities and qualities that I definitely look for in a person,” she said.
So without further ado, here are the men and women entering The Bachelorette mansion this year.
