Since publishing this story, Network Ten has announced the death of MasterChef Australia judge, Jock Zonfrillo on April 30, 2023. MasterChef Australia Secrets and Surprises will now premiere on Sunday, May 7, with the full support of Zonfrillo’s family.
After 14 seasons featuring delicious food and entertaining cast members, “MasterChef Australia” is returning with Season 15 in 2023, “MasterChef: Secrets & Surprises“. As the new name suggests, there’ll be twists and turns in the kitchen to keep contestants and audiences guessing. It’s bound to have your tastebuds watering.
The show, premiering 1 May on 10 and 10 Play, will be headlined by judges Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen, and Melissa Leong.
Here’s everything you need to know to catch all the culinary action.
What Can I Expect?
In the first look shared by 10, contestants are seen running through a maze. It ultimately ends at an Alice in Wonderland-themed tea party. The competition promises to be exciting, with the pressure on to not fudge it up. Not to mention there’s $250,000 on the line.
With surprises at every turn, this season is not one to miss. As always, “MasterChef Australia” will feature an array of world-class guest chefs. They’ll inspire contestants to push their culinary boundaries and create truly exceptional dishes.
With only 18 coveted aprons up for grabs, the competition is sure to be fierce. The amateur cooks will have to bring their A-game if they want to impress the judges.
Last year, Billie McKay made history as the first cook ever to win “MasterChef Australia” twice, defeating Sarah Todd in the finale of “MasterChef Fans & Faves”.
