How Ziara and Izaya Found Love on "FBOY Island Australia"

“FBOY Island Australia” captured the hearts of viewers with its rollercoaster of emotions, egos and unexpected connections. We guess that’s just what happens when you put a bunch of “FBoys” and “Nice Guys” in a villa together! Among the couples that stood out were Ziara and Izaya, whose genuine and endearing bond blossomed amidst the chaos of the show.

Speaking with POPSUGAR Australia, the loved-up couple opened up about their journey on the show, revealing the unique factors that brought them together amidst the whirlwind of all the “FBoy Island Australia” chaos.

Ziara couldn’t help but gush about what initially drew her to Izaya, and described their interactions as “awkward and cute.”

Ziara said that it was “the fact that he didn’t stand out as much as everyone else” that actually worked in Izaya’s favour.

“I mean, his personality, I think he’s got a huge personality because I know him. But I think he just kind of was different. I was kind of like, ‘Why are you even on this show’?” She explained.

“I think everyone else really was super aware that they were on a reality show and around the cameras and I think a lot of my dates with the other guys… it just felt kind of not authentic,” she continued.

“But with Izaya, it was just awkward and cute and we were ourselves and completely forgot about the cameras. And that’s what I just liked about it.”

… Izaya Came in With No Game Plan, But It All Paid Off

Izaya, on the other hand, admitted that he had “no game plan” when he first entered the show. He found himself surrounded by big egos and personalities.

“Now, watching it back, I don’t even know why I was there, to be honest,” he added.

Izaya said he stayed true to himself, opting to spend quality one-on-one time with Ziara instead of trying to win her over in a contrived manner.

“I felt like just being myself and not trying to be anyone who I wasn’t was like real big for me,” he said.

Curiosity piqued, and we had to ask Ziara if she had any doubts or concerns about Izaya’s intentions.

“No, not at all. I think he was too quiet and kind of reserved to be an ‘FBoy’,” she said.

Ziara found solace in Izaya’s quiet confidence, and it set him apart from the rest of the contestants. In Ziara’s words, many of the other contestants practically had “FBoy written on their forehead”.

Now that the “FBoy Island Australia” is over, Ziara and Izaya are excitedly looking toward the future they’ll share together, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this adorable couple.
