Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders Has a Premiere Date and It’s Sooner Than You Think
Big Brother Australia has announced its new season, and we can hardly wait. Channel 7 has been dropping previews of the upcoming instalment, and similar to almost every reality show on television right now, previous contestants will be making an appearance.
Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders will see the return of eight fan favourites, along with 11 new housemates who are ready to cause carnage. Some of the “Royalty” includes 2003 winner Regina “Reggie” Bird, former lovers Anthony Drew and Tully Smyth and 2013 champion Tim Dormer.
We’re sure scandal and chaos will follow each housemate, but we’re particularly intrigued as to how Drew and Tully’s reunion will play out, especially because this year, Drew’s current girlfriend Sam is also a contestant on the show.
It’s been a few years since the Big Brother Royalty played the game, and with the premise of the competition evolving over the years, it will be interesting to see how they hold up. Will a previous winner be able to take home the prize for the second time? Or will they be outsmarted by those after them?
“From the minute I walk into the door, I will have a target on my back because I’m one of the most popular housemates in the history of Big Brother,” said Bird.
Dormer shared the same sentiment, saying he’ll “definitely” be targeted “for being a strategic mastermind who the Australian public already voted once to win”.
“I will have to try convincing them that I have no idea what I’m doing this time around and win their trust with my charm!” Dormer added.
So, When Is Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders Premiering?
You can catch all of the action on Monday, May 9 by tuning in on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
