At long last, Target has hopped aboard the wine Advent calendar bandwagon. The retailer just began exclusively selling the W.O.W Wines of the West Advent Calendar, and considering how in-demand similar products are at stores like Costco and Aldi each year, we’re gonna go out on a limb and predict a sellout among Target shoppers. The festive calendar is stocked with 24 mini 187-milliliter bottles for each day leading up to Christmas. Every red, white, and Rosé included was grown, harvested, and bottled on the West Coast, as the calendar’s name suggests.
In true Target fashion, the packaging is *chef’s kiss*. Rather than being decked out with cheesy holiday images, the box is a playful mix of pink and blue and features fun phrases like “Roses are red, so is my wine” and “Wine is my favorite fruit.” Plus, each tiny bottle’s label is decorated with equally cute sayings, such as “Today’s forecast: 99% chance of wine” and “I enjoy long romantic walks down the wine aisle,” both of which speak to us. The calendar rings up at $60, which is a pretty darn great price, considering the fact that the entire box equates to six full-size bottles of vino.
The W.O.W Wines of the West Advent Calendar is currently available for purchase at Target stores, but only for a limited time. Take a sneak peek at the included wines ahead, then be sure to check out the product’s corresponding website that offers pairing suggestions for each bottle.
