I love key lime pie and pretty much anything else that can closely replicate the flavor of one of my favorite desserts, but since the citrusy fruit is only in season a few months out of the year, I have to stock up on as many key-lime-flavored goods as possible while I can! And who knew that meant key-lime-infused beer?! Well, I’m more than happy to say that’s a thing this year, because Aldi is releasing Key Lime Sour beer, and it looks more than refreshing.
The beer boasts sour and tart flavors, making it the perfect beverage to pair with dishes like ceviche, salads, tacos, and white cheeses. It’s available in six packs of 12-ounce cans retailing for just $7 (hell yes). Described as an ale brewed with key lime juice, each beer contains 4.5 percent ABV and will be the only thirst quencher you’ll be craving for the remainder of summer. The beer hits shelves Aug. 19, so make sure to head to your nearest Aldi (if they have an alcohol section) to pick up your own stash. Cheers!
