Chloë Bailey had one simple requirement for her first adult apartment: it needed to exude “boss b*tch” energy. Well, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter just gave Architectural Digest a tour of her Los Angeles home, and we can confirm that she accomplished her goal. With help from her godmother and West Elm, Chloë furnished the 1,300-square-foot space to perfection, selecting furniture that’s both chic and cozy. As for the colour scheme, it’s mostly neutral, but she accented with her favourite colours, yellow and blue, and pops of gold.
We’d be remiss to forego mentioning her plethora of sentimental artwork; photos and paintings of her and her sister Halle decorate the walls and desktops, and she has an abstract photo from her first solo music video shoot to commemorate the milestone. “I always think it’s weird having photos of yourself in your home,” Chloë admits during her home tour, “but if they’re done artfully and tastefully, it’s OK.”
“It’s the one place I can calm down.”
With a jam-packed schedule that includes award-show appearances, studio sessions, and music video shoots, Chloë isn’t home much, but when she is, she feels at peace. “It’s the one place I can calm down,” she told Architectural Digest. “My mind is constantly moving a thousand miles per minute, and when I come here, I’m like, [exhales] ‘Yes.'” Ahead, take a look inside the superstar’s elegant sanctuary, which includes sweeping city views, a fit-for-a-queen bedroom, and a purse-filled closet.
