Cheers to hot days at the pool, warm nights on the patio, and clinking to canned wine all summer long! Canned wine is not only convenient for packing on the go and making wine nights easier than ever (no more wine glasses to clean!), but these days, it can taste just as good as bottled wine. It’s crisp, fresh, and can be kept in the cooler no matter how long you’re out in the sun for. These nontraditional wines even stack up to the fanciest wines in the wine cellar – they’re that good.

Don Simon Summer Red Fizzy Canned Sangria
Most canned wines tend to be whites or Rosés (as they’re best served chilled), and as a red wine drinker, I was excited to spot this Summer Red Fizzy from Don Simon. The canned sangria has a red wine base, citrus soda, and a splash of lemon. The fruity beverage is just sweet enough but isn’t overly sugary, and it’s a phenomenal alternative to making your own pitchers of sangria.
The sangria is from Spain but has made its way to the US. It’s sold at H-E-B stores and Cost Plus World Market. Pick up six-packs of these cans (330 milliliters each) for $10.
Nomadica Canned Wines
The first thing you’ll notice about Nomadica canned wines is the packaging – and that’s the intention. Based out of Los Angeles, this trendy wine label aims to combine art and wine by featuring captivating illustrations on the packaging itself. (Side note: it comes as no surprise that the company is also the mastermind behind the Instagram-famous “Pink Is a Nice Color” art installation in Los Angeles that featured three houses painted bright pink.) “I wanted to do really, really good wine in a can with art on the labels; otherwise it gets boring,” a member of the Nomadica team told POPSUGAR. Nomadica currently offers rosé, sparkling rosé, sparkling white, and red, as well as a sampler pack of all four starting at $50 for an eight-pack (equivalent to more than 2.5 bottles of wine).
Possibly the most millennial (read: Instagram-worthy) canned wine, Nomadica comes in several eye-catching varieties that speak to different people’s aesthetics. You can order Nomadica online or find it in stores in LA, and soon in more states like New York, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
Surf Swim Canned Chardonnay
There’s no need to keep bottles of Chardonnay over ice all day thanks to Surf Swim‘s summery canned Chardonnay. Based in LA, Surf Swim is rolling out its four-packs of the refreshing white wine at WinCo stores for $13.
The Infinite Monkey Theorem Canned Wines
The Infinite Monkey Theorem has a canned wine for every preference: a lightly carbonated red, a sweet and bubbly Moscato, a refreshing Rosé, a dry white wine, and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. There’s also a dry-hopped pear cider for those who prefer a fruitier cider over wine. You can find these cans in 44 states across the country at stores like BevMo, Total Wine, and (soon) Safeway for $15 per four-pack.
Nomikai California Rosé
This canned wine will speak to your soul if your motto is “Rosé All Day.” Made by the same company as the Bushido’s Way of the Warrior Canned Sake, Nomikai California Rosé is fizzy, not too sweet, and ideal for summer cookouts. Wine stores across the country are carrying the new wine for $5 per can.
Bollicini Canned Rosé and Cuvée
Italian wine brand Bollicini recently launched these adorable four-packs of canned Rosé in the US. The imported Italian sparkling wine is available in stores nationally for $10 per four-pack, and fans of crisp, bubbly Rosé will want to scout out one of these millennial-pink-colored packs.
Look for the blue Bollicini cans of sparkling Cuvée if Champagne is your sunny-day drink of choice. Drink a can on its own, or add a mini bottle of orange juice to your cooler for perfectly portioned individual mimosas.
