Forgot a Christmas Treat For Yourself? PS5 and Xbox Controllers Are on Sale For $69 (Nice) on Amazon
The DualSense wireless controller is on sale for almost 50 percent off on Amazon right now, while the Xbox wireless controller is 23 percent off, bringing down the price of both controllers down to $69 (nice).
Normally they’re $119.95 and $89.95 respectively, so the PS5 discount is definitely the bigger deal. But it’s still a good price for an Xbox controller and even better when you account for Amazon’s speedy delivery — if you buy them today, they’ll arrive by Wednesday, December 28 or even tomorrow, December 21 if you opt for the fastest delivery. Perfect for a last-minute gift (which we’ve got loads more of here, btw) for yourself or someone special.
The DualSense controller comes in galactic purple, nova pink, cosmic red, starlight blue, midnight black, and white. The new grey camouflage controller is also on sale for $69; unfortunately the God of War Ragnarok controller is still full price, at $260.
The Xbox controller is also available in a range of colours, including robot white and carbon black, shock blue, pulse red, and electric volt. There’s also a version of the black controller that comes with a USB-C cable, and another that comes with a wireless adapter for use with PCs running Windows 10 or above.
EB Games, JB Hi-Fi and The Gamesmen are running similar sales on gaming accessories, but Amazon still has the biggest discount on controllers by far. It also has sweet discounts on the Nintendo Switch OLED ($489, RRP $540), original Neon Blue/Red Switch ($399, RRP $469), and Switch Lite ($298, RRP $330).
Thanks to the recent delivery of PS5 consoles in Australia, Amazon also has the PS5 ($799) and PS5 digital ($649) for sale, as well as a range of PS5 accessories like the DualSense charging station ($35) and media remote ($44). Between all these discounts, your last-minute Christmas shopping should be covered.
