Pokémon Scarlet and Violet hasn’t even been released yet and it’s already on sale. Amazon Australia currently has the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Dual Pack for $128 — $32 off the retail price.
The dual pack includes both games in a steel book, which normally hikes up the price. With the discount, though, you’re getting Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet and the decorative steel book for less than you’d spend buying both games individually. Who doesn’t love a bargain?
And there’s more reason than ever to buy both games in this generation — not only do Scarlet and Violet have exclusive legendary Pokémon, they also have different trainers. The animalistic Professor Sada will help you on your Pokémon journey in Scarlet, while Violet stars the futuristic Professor Turo.
The new games also have our favourite starter Pokémon in a long time. At the beginning of the game, you’ll choose between Sprigatito the grass-type kitten, Fuecoco the fire-type croc and Quaxly the water-type duck with incredible hair.
Perhaps most exciting, though, is that for the first time ever in the Pokémon series, Scarlet and Violet will have four-player multiplayer, so you can explore the fully open world and battle exciting new Pokémon with up to three friends.
“Along with series staples, such as trading and battling Pokémon, you will be able to explore the various locations of the region in these games with other players,” says the game’s website. “You can discover new Pokémon and explore unfamiliar areas with your friends and family, opening the door to an adventure more precious and fun than ever!”
What Is the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Release Date?
The new games will be released on November 18, 2022 on Nintendo Switch.
This is the best deal we’ve seen so far, but if you prefer your games library to be digital or only want one game, you can find the cheapest copies of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in Australia here.
