One of the cuter — and that’s saying something — things to do in Animal Crossing is choosing an outfit for your villager. There are thousands of tops, dresses, shoes, accessories and more to dress in, which makes it easy to express your own style in-game. And now UNIQLO is bringing Animal Crossing: New Horizons style to the real world with a new collection based on the game.
Inspired by the animals who live in your village and their fancy-free island lifestyle, the collection includes shirts, shorts, tote bags and blanket towels.
The minimalist designs include Timmy and Tommy on a pocket tee, the Dodo Airlines logo, a rare sighting of Gulliver asleep on the beach, and a quote from K.K. Slider: “I’m tuned up and ready to roll. This one’s called Farewell.”
There are also designs featuring various fruits from the game, a sign for the Able Sisters Shop, and faces of characters like Isabelle, Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, Kicks, and Lloid.
The UNIQLO Animal Crossing collection launches on November 1 in all stores across Australia and online.
You can browse the range here, but it won’t be available to purchase until November 1. Still, that gives you time to curate a wish list of Animal Crossing clothes you’re going to rep on your next visit to the pub.
If you can’t make it into a store, why not do some virtual retail therapy instead? 22 styles from the collection will be available in-game on the custom-built “UNIQLO Island“. Visit a realistic replica of a UNIQLO store, fully stocked with in-game versions of the collection for your villager. Grab your favourite items from the store at the Custom Designs Portal and you and your villager can wear matching outfits for your next play session. Go on, you both deserve a makeover.
