Simone Biles May Have Just Revealed Her “Something Blue” – and It’s So Fitting

Gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles has long been both an athletic and stylish inspiration. But her newest role as a bride is also serving up lots of wedding inspiration for anyone saying “I do.”

For good luck, as the old saying goes, brides should have “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” on their wedding day – and it seems that Biles’s “something blue” might just be a sparkly blue leotard with her literal name on it.

In an Instagram story shared by GK Elite on April 24, the brand shared a video of a light blue, lace-printed leotard captioned, “something blue is coming soon…” and tagged Biles. The leotard is bedazzled with shiny appliqués and pearls, and the bottom corner is embroidered with her name and the company’s logo. Biles reposted the video to her story writing, “can’t wait ?????.”

Leotards aren’t exactly typical bridal fashion, but if there was any that looked worthy of wedding-day wear, this one gets close.

Biles and her now-husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, already officially tied the knot with a courthouse ceremony in Houston. They shared joyful photos of the day on Instagram on April 22, with Biles writing, “I do ? officially owens ?” in the caption of her post. But the courthouse ceremony isn’t the couple’s only celebration: they’re throwing an upcoming destination wedding where the leotard in question could very well be worn.

Biles has confirmed that she’ll be wearing four different dresses, but it’s unclear if this leotard will simply be for sale as part of her collection with GK Elite or if we’ll see it at her wedding.

Will there be a dance-floor floor exercise routine? A tumbling pass down the aisle? A dramatic leotard reveal? Only time will tell. But if Biles’s historical performances are any indication, her guests are in for a greatest-of-all-time affair.
