Rihanna is known for her bold red carpet looks, with too many iconic fashion moments over the years to count. But for her Super Bowl Halftime show, she kept it low-key in a jumpsuit and bustier by Loewe and a puffer jacket by Alaia — the same designer she wore to the Super Bowl pre-match press conference.
We love that she opted for comfort, with an edge — blinging the look up with a bedazzled watch and brooch detailing on the jumpsuit. Plus, the Loewe bustier gave the whole look an edge of feminine glam, as well as hinted at her now-confirmed baby bump.
The long puffer jacket by Loewe added an amazing impact to the stage. While performing “Diamonds”, the jacket cascaded around her like a ruby red waterfall, giving off huge regal energy. It reminded us of her yellow train Met Gala moment, back in 2015.
Performing some of her most iconic hits such as “Umbrella”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy”, “Work” and “B*tch Better Have My Money”, much of Rihanna’s performance was done on moving stages that rose at different levels.
