What to Wear to a Music Festival This Summer, Inspired by British Celebrities

When it comes to festival fashion, no one does it quite like the UK. At England’s best summer music festivals, don’t expect to see flower crowns or Woodstock-inspired outfits. Instead, it’s all about chunky boots, low-waisted trousers, and enough double-denim to shake a stick at. We’ve searched through the best celebrity fashion moments from past music festivals and found a ton of classic music festival outfits that we bet you’ll copy at least once this summer.

Joining the trifecta of wellies, short shorts, and raincoats are a few pieces that are equally worthy of praise. Expect to see ABBA-inspired looks, subtle fringe details, and a whole lotta crochet, as well as the already-loved Barbiecore trend – inspired by the upcoming “Barbie” movie by Greta Gerwig.

Kate Moss might have set the standard for the minidress and knee-high boots look at Glasto, but corset tops a la Maya Jama are all the rage, too. Plus, if TikTok trends are anything to go by, we’re expecting a resurgence of 90s fashion trends, and for a new wave of “coastal cowgirl” vibes to hit the festival campsites this 2023.
