Married At First Sight” 2023 is off and running, with six weddings done and dusted and plenty of drama, tensions, and hopeful love stories already on the horizon.

But let’s be honest, we watch the MAFS weddings for those first impression looks. That moment when the groom is told he can turn around and we see the look on his face as he sees his bride for the first time. And sure, their reaction is probably an accumulation of a lot of emotions… but a beautiful gown doesn’t hurt.

The gowns that have glided down the MAFS aisles so far have been stunning. We’ve had simple and chic, a modern twist, classic and elegant, and everything in between.

Keep scrolling for all the details on the wedding dresses that the MAFS 2023 brides have worn so far, and where to shop them.

“Married At First Sight” airs at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Melissa

Melissa went for classic lace on her wedding day, with a gown from local boutique Brides in Love.

Featuring a plunging neckline and cascading train, her gown was the perfect representation of her personality: sweet, sassy and sex positive.

Janelle's Dress

It should come as no surprise that Janelle — who is verrrry focused on career and money — wore a Vera Wang dress to her MAFS wedding.

Her dress, the Alizee Gown ($5,000), is backless, simple, and classic. In one word: stunning.

Tahnee

As one part of the resident Gen Z couple, Tahnee’s wedding dress was a beautiful match of traditional and modern.

The Isabelle gown ($1,414) from House of CB uses classic bridal lace and sports a gorge fishtail silhouette, and the strapless bustier and glove details add more modern wedding touches.

Sandy

Sandy, in her traditional Indian wedding dress, was a true standout.

Her set was made by Masaya Angels + Alterations, complete with red organza, gold detailing, and intricate patterns.

Claire

I’m already cringing at Claire and Jesse’s dynamic (mostly him telling her to shush, which no one should ever do) — but at least she looked bomb on her wedding day.

Her strapless fit and flare gown was designed by Stella York from Fairytales Bridal. It isn’t on the website, but there are heaps of similar vibes to shop online. Something simple, fitted, and sexy like this Cizzy gown is fab.

Bronte

Bronte looked beautiful in this gown from Tuscany Bridal, a Perth-based bridal boutique that specialise in simple and classic silhouettes.

She opted for full minimalism, with a sleek low bun, minimal jewellery, and fitted gown, with lace detailing in the train.

Lyndall

The first bride to get married in the 2023 MAFS experiment was Lyndall, and she looked stunning.

Her dress, the Dreamer AYSM Dress from Bec + Bridge, is actually super affordable, retailing at $380.

This is a perfect example of not having to spend heaps to look and feel beautiful on your special day.
