Maybe it’s just us, but we suddenly have an overwhelming urge to sort out our underwear drawer after seeing Lily Allen‘s latest Instagram post. The singer took to social media on 30 March to showcase a few recent press looks for Sky’s new comedy “Dreamland”, in which she stars, and in one of them, she sports a gorgeous purple, lace Versace bralette. Suddenly, our nude t-shirt bras just aren’t going to cut it.
Allen teamed the £365 vibrant-coloured longline bralette, which comes complete with ribbed cups, with a purple silk cargo micro miniskirt with oversize pockets and logo clasp belt. For a little added fun, she added a matching ruffled open shirt over the top, also from the Italian fashion brand, and large gold, hoop earrings. She modelled this lingerie look before changing into a chic ultra-plunging Giorgio Armani embellished dress and red lip for the London premiere, in which she was supported by her husband David Harbour on the red carpet. Earlier in the day, she wore an Alessandra Rich polka dot tea dress, as she sported her new blonde micro bob hair.
Allen has been doing the press rounds to promote her TV debut as she follows in her husband’s footsteps by embarking on an acting career. Although the mum-of-two recently admitted she had never watched “Stranger Things“, which Harbour stars as Jim Hopper, and initially thought he was a real “sexy policeman”. She also really revealed she is four years sober and, if these latest press looks are anything to go by, sober certainly looks good on her.
