2021 seems to be a defining moment for Kim Kardashian’s intimates and loungewear brand, Skims. Just a few weeks after announcing it is the official loungewear and sleepwear brand for Team USA’s female Olympic and Paralympic competitors, the brand is back with another announcement: Kate Moss will be the new face of Skims. The supermodel and fashion icon is starring in a Skims ad campaign that launches on July 15.
Kim first announced the news on Twitter by posting a photo of Kate wearing a white Skims bralette and underwear set. She captioned the image, “I first met Kate in 2014 through Ricardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humor, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since!” Then, she posted a topless photo of Kate wearing black leggings from the line with the caption: “She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honoured to feature her as the new face of @SKIMS this Summer!”
