Kate Middleton is having a very busy week. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted at Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre this morning, Jan. 22, in Cardiff, Wales. The visit was part of Kate’s 24-hour tour of the UK to launch her early-childhood survey, 5 Big Questions. The duchess showed up looking smart and ready for business in a dual-tone brown-and-black outfit, and we couldn’t take our eyes off her superwearable (and affordable) Zara leopard print, pleated midi skirt.
Kate’s 5 Big Questions online survey aims to “build the healthiest generation in history by giving every child the best start in life.” Yesterday, she visited Thinktank science museum in Birmingham, before making her way to Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre in Cardiff to focus on the early-childhood needs and development of children under five. The duchess had to cancel her first visit to the LEYF Nursery in London this morning due to weather conditions, but she will make a final stop in Surrey later today.
For Kate’s visit to Cardiff, she continued her love of affordable retailer Zara. The duchess wore a Zara animal print pleated midi skirt ($13, originally $50), paired with a smart, sleek Massimo Dutti camel overcoat, a simple black fitted sweater, and black leather boots. See every angle of Kate’s affordable look ahead.
