Jodie Turner-Smith delivers nothing but pure fashion moments when she hits the red carpet. Last night at the 2022 Clooney Foundation’s Albie Awards was no exception. The actress and model was a vision, wearing a black, voluminous, tulle mermaid gown by Christian Siriano. Styled by design duo and collaborators Wayman + Micah, she topped off the look with Gucci shoes and a kitschy Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a bow. For jewels, she opted for ruby cascade earrings from the French artisanal jeweller Reza to complement her redish-purple hair.
The Clooney Foundation for Justice, cofounded by George and Amal Clooney, celebrated its inaugural award ceremony, honouring courageous defenders of justice. Stars like Julia Roberts and Lori Harvey joined Turner-Smith to celebrate the night’s dedication to service.
Turner-Smith’s beautiful black tiered gown might look familiar. It was the closing look at Siriano’s spring/summer 2023 show this past NYFW. This fresh-off-the-runway approach is common for Turner-Smith and her stylists. Last month, Turner-Smith turned heads in look after look at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. From the abstract art-inspired Christopher John Rogers gown to the custom denim Balmain dress to the sleek lilac cutout slip dress by Et Ochs, she made the Venetian streets her personal runway.
The fashion-lover also recently made an appearance at Milan Fashion Week last week, sitting front row at the Gucci Twinsburg show. Turner-Smith is an ambassador of the house, from starring in campaigns to often wearing the Italian brand on the red carpet.
