Lifestyle brand Goop, founded by the one and only Gwyneth Paltrow, has added a jewellery line to its signature line, G. Label. According to the Goop website, “a handful of luxurious wardrobe essentials” are added to the line each month and these pieces are designed to be kept in your wardrobe forever.
The latest addition to this range is a jewellery line, which Paltrow has modelled on the Goop website. Of the line, Paltrow said, “My love for jewellery is well documented. I’m into layering various designers, but to do that well, you need a foundation that goes with everything. That’s
what we set out to create with the G. Label Jewellery Collection.”
The collection includes two pairs of diamond-encrusted earrings, “a goop spin on the traditional signet ring” and an ear cuff as well as a link bracelet and necklace. Unsurprisingly, the price tag for these items is pretty steep. The cheapest item in the line is the Fiene Yellow Gold and Pavé Ear Cuff for US $650 (AUD $838), while the most expensive is the Deven Link Necklace which costs US $2,500 (AUD $3224).
The Sydney Floating-Diamond Pinkie Ring will set you back US $1,300 (AUD $1676), while you’re looking at a cool US $1,450 (AUD $1870) for the Apple Circle Pavé Drop Earrings, which are described as “architectural and delicate at the same time”. These earrings are “the kind of outfit-finishers you can wear with everything from casual tees to black tie”.
According to Paltrow, her 17-year-old daughter helped her with the design process of the G. Label Jewellery Collection. “Every year on Apple’s birthday we get a new piercing — it’s this little tradition we have. She was a big inspiration for this collection and helped me refine the designs,” Paltrow said. “I named the pieces after her and her best friends. She’ll definitely be ‘borrowing’ her namesake earrings.”
If you’re looking to drop some cash on one of the G. Label Jewellery Collection pieces, you can shop via the Goop website. While Goop doesn’t currently ship to Australia, you can use the Australia Post ShopMate service.
Basically, you sign up to ShopMate and you’re given a ShopMate U.S address, which you pop in as the delivery address on your order. Then, your order will be delivered to the U.S warehouse and processed before being sent to you in Australia.
The Goop jewellery pieces are due to ship in early August.
