The most exciting week of Sydney’s fashion calendar is finally upon us, with Afterpay Australian Fashion Week returning to the iconic Carriageworks precinct on Gadigal Country for another year, from Monday 9 May to Friday 13 May.

The schedule for this year’s AAFW includes over 50 shows and events, with local designers like Bassike, Bec + Bridge, and Oroton all having their moment on the runway, to showcase their resort collections. The festival kicked off on Monday morning with a Welcome to Country, and First Nations Fashion + Design is also returning this year for the “Yours Mine and Ours” show on Wednesday and will also close out the festival on Friday with a show and afterparty.

Beyond the runways of Fashion Week, we’re always tuned in to what’s happening between the shows.
