Anya Taylor-Joy stepped out in the cold in a show-stopping holiday look on Monday. During a stroll through NYC on Nov. 14, the “Menu” star wowed in a Magda Butrym Lace Babydoll Dress and a matching Patent Leather Trench Coat, the perfect complements to her icy-blond hair. She styled the monochrome ensemble with semisheer tights in a vibrant cherry shade and red velvet pumps.
Taylor-Joy’s glossy trench coat features a thigh-high slit down the back center, causing the ankle-length coat to flutter behind her as she strutted down the sidewalk in her heels. She layered the coat, which she wore draped over her shoulders, on top of a plunging minidress with a balconette neckline and a square-shaped dip at the center of the bust.
The dress was fully embellished in lacy, floral appliqués, including overlapping daisies and roses. The final result was a jagged yet delicate hemline that hit just above her mid-thigh and beautifully contrasted her angular coat. She completed the look with chunky statement rings in gold on both hands and a black manicure.
Last week, Taylor-Joy appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” in ’70s-style bell-bottoms and a waistcoat in a sheer fabric. The set featured crystal beading accents over a lacy, floral design. She styled the look with white platform shoes.
While Taylor-Joy’s most recent ensembles are from two totally different style eras, this sneak peek at her fall wardrobe has us ready for a lesson in history’s most fashionable decades.
