Aje is Taking on Activewear with Style in Its New ‘Aje Athletica’ Collection
Activewear is absolutely having a moment. Never before have we celebrated comfort over pretty much anything else, the way we have in the last two years; being stuck at home due to COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
TBH, we’re glad. Obviously wearing killer outfits is the most fun and we miss the hell out of it, but it’s also really nice to be able to wear workout clothes, leisurewear and athletica almost every day, guilt-free.
Heaps of brands have upped their leisurewear game within the last year, designing for all body shapes and using more sustainable materials. Even brands that aren’t known for activewear have been dipping their toe in.
Aje, an Australian brand, known for its layered, shaggy dress styles, beautiful colours and dedication to sustainability, have taken on activewear and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Starting as a capsule brand, AJE ATHLETICA is here to stay, with its second collection—AJE ATHLETICA Collection 002—launching today, September 29.
This launch accompanies the rollout of 11 Aje Athletica ‘wellness sanctuaries’ set to open this spring across Australia and NZ, which will see them open dedicated boutiques for the Aje Athletica collections.
The idea is “activewear designed through the lens of a fashion house”, which to us says good quality, super stylish and just that little bit extra fancy which honestly, makes living in activewear feel more elite.
This collection embodies the considered details Aje is known for, alongside functional, conscious designs made up of 70 per cent sustainably sourced materials, speaking to a community of women at the intersection of fashion, wellness and movement.
Elevated embossing, luxe recycled fabrications and statement shapes are designed in a classic monochrome colour palette accompanied by feminine, muted tones such as Sky Blue and Sand. This curated collection of matching co-ordinate sets, skirts, dresses, logo tees, jumpers and wellness accessories starts at $25 to $275, making it affordable as well as stylish.
Our own individual wellness journeys are unique, but most of us will be on a lifelong evolution and it always helps to put our most stylish foot forward.
