James Marsden Says “Being a Father is the 1 Thing I'm Most Proud of”

James Marsden has racked up an impressive résumé over the years, but despite all his star-studded films, he says his biggest achievement is being a dad. “Of all my achievements in life, being a father is the one thing I’m most proud of. It is the most fulfilling. I’m always self-deprecating, but I don’t have a problem saying that I am a great dad,” he shared in an interview. The 47-year-old actor has two teenagers with former Days of Our Lives star Lisa Linde, whom he was married to for 11 years until their split in 2011. Born on Feb. 1. 2001, Jack Marsden is Marsden’s eldest son, and it’s pretty clear from social media that he’s been a proud papa since day one. And, who could forget when Mardsen took him as his plus-one to the SAG Awards in 2017?! On the red carpet, Jack hinted he was interested in a career in music, but since then, he’s started modeling and even walked during Milan Men’s Fashion Week for Dolce & Gabbana in fall/winter 2018/2019.

Born Aug. 10, 2005, Mary James Marsden is the Dead to Me actor’s only daughter and although she may be the middle child, it’s obvious they have a close bond. Marsden hasn’t shared too many photos of his daughter, and while she herself doesn’t have social media (understandably so), we do enjoy watching their home videos.
