Channel 10 has dropped a new teaser trailer for Australian Survivor: Brains Vs Brawn, in which we get to know a little more about one of our first revealed Brawn tribemates.
Meet Dani, the prison guard who wants to win Australian Survivor to prove to her two nieces — and all women — that you can achieve anything.
“The Australian outback might be fierce,” Dani says in the new trailer, “but it’s no match to the snakes I deal with every single day.
“I work at a maximum men’s security prison, I work with the worst of the worst,” she says, adding, “I deal with manipulation every single day.”
Dani goes on to say that she “will not be weak” in the game she plays, which is exactly what we want to see, to be honest!
She’s also going to need that strength to battle the climate and conditions of the new season, which was filmed in Cloncurry, Queensland, after COVID restrictions shifted production back to Australia from Fiji.
Set to a cover of the Bee Gees ‘Stayin’ Alive’, the trailer shows just how different a season filmed in Conclurry will be from the tropical environments we’ve seen over the past few seasons.
Gone are the crystal clear waters and beautiful palm trees, this season promises “scorching days” and “freezing nights”, according to host Jonathan LaPaglia, adding that the players “will have to survive in one of the most dangerous locations on the planet”.
As for Dani’s strategy, it sounds like she’s ready to play hard.
“I definitely will have to play mind games in Survivor; I’ll take no prisoners,” she said. Irony! We have to stan.
Australian Survivor: Brains Vs. Brawn will premiere on 10 and 10 Play soon.
