What do you get when you combine the brains of a mental health worker with the badassery of a heavy metal singer?
The answer is: Booka, one of the brides participating on Married at First Sight.
Single since 2016, this eclectic 31-year-old from Western Australia is looking for a partner with whom she can be authentically herself, having “lost herself” in past relationships.
Booka’s academic family weren’t too happy when she left school to pursue her music career, but the gambit paid off as she now spends nine months a year touring with metal band Make Them Suffer.
When she is not rocking out on stage across the country, Booka is working in a psychiatric hostel helping people with mental health issues with their integration back into society.
While this musician has a fun and footloose life pursuing her passions, it does make finding romance a little tricky. Hopefully this rocker with a heart of gold can finally meet her leading man at the altar!
