When “Pretty Little Liars” premiered back in 2010, we fell hard for Lucy Hale and her character of Aria, and we’re not the only ones. The actor, 34, has dated quite a few famous guys through the years. Most recently, the “Katy Keene” actor was linked to fellow Archieverse star Skeet Ulrich. Ulrich played Jughead’s dad on “Riverdale” – but he once was a teen star himself in films like “Scream” and “The Craft.”
But Hale, who appears to currently be single, reflected back in January on how her standards for a future partner are pretty high these days. “I think that you can find someone who you mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically connect with – like, a 10 out of 10 in each area,” she during an interview on the “Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson” podcast, per People. “I think that is possible. I think so many people settle. I’m not gonna f*cking settle. I’ll die alone before I settle. It’s so dramatic, but that’s just how I feel.”
She added that she believes strongly in the “power of manifestation,” so she’s literally written out exactly what she’s looking for in a partner. Of her past partners, she added, “I typically liked a little project to fix, like, your problems are worse than mine, so you’re gonna make me feel better about myself just because I’m helping, you know, ‘fix you.'” But now, she explained, “I just have these standards and I refuse to believe that that’s not out there.”

Though David Henrie was once rumored to be romancing his onscreen sister Selena Gomez, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actor was actually dating Hale, who guest-starred on the series in 2007 as Henrie’s love interest, Miranda. The pair dated for over two years. When asked by J-14 back in 2014 if he would ever get back together with Hale, Henrie suggested that their relationship was purely platonic after their breakup. “No, we’re friends. We’re just buddies now,” he said, so it seems as though they ended on good terms.

Alex Marshall
Soon after the premiere of “Pretty Little Liars,” Hale sparked dating rumors with The Cab keyboard player Alex Marshall. Hale seemingly confirmed the relationship when she tweeted, “He bought me a rose,” alongside a picture of the two of them in October 2010, but the two only lasted for a few months after that before going their separate ways.

Chris Zylka
Hale dated “The Amazing Spider-Man” actor Chris Zylka for about nine months before some cryptic tweets from Zylka suggested that the two were done. The duo first met at New Year’s Eve party, but when a fan tweeted at Zylka that his “girlfriend is gorgeous” in September 2012, Chris replied, “Don’t have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good,” per E!
Zylka later apologized in a series of tweets. “I’d like to apologize about my previous comments,” he said, per Us Weekly. “Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, but also one the most beautiful, inside and out. Anyone who’s ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her, knows this to be true.”
In January 2018, Zylka got engaged to Paris Hilton, but they split later that year.

Hale was rumored to have dated actor Graham Rogers for three months in 2013. The actor first confirmed their relationship to Us Weekly in June 2013, telling them, “He is such a sweetheart. We are having a good time.” The couple even went on a romantic trip to Hawaii together that July before splitting in September, per
Us Weekly.

In 2014, Hale dated country singer Joel Crouse for a few months. The couple were first spotted together in April 2014 at a Lakers Game, where Gale shared an Instagram pic of the two captioned, “First lakers game. Was really great teaching this one the rules of the game. And seeing him looking like a kid in a candy store @joelcrouse.” The pair split that June, and a source told Us Weekly at the time that it was due to the distance and Hale’s work demands.

Hale was in a two-year relationship with musician Anthony Kalabretta from 2015 to 2017. Hale told People of their romance in September 2016, “[It’s going] good. He’s great.” However, reports broke in 2017 that they had split, and fans noticed Hale had deleted their Instagram pics together. That July, she tweeted a photo of them in front of a helicopter, but it’s unclear if they had rekindled their romance or were just reconnecting as friends.

Hale did address their relationship during her podcast interview with Bilson this January and praised dating older men (they have a 19-year age gap). “I loved it. No bullsh*t, almost,” she said. She added that she still has her dating apps set with an age range of 27 to 50.
