A Complete Look at Irina Shayk’s Romantic History, From Bradley Cooper to Tom Brady

While some outlets have reported on Shayk’s alleged relationship to Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon, neither one has confirmed that they did indeed date. According to the Mirror, the two were reportedly together from 2007 to 2009.

Shayk’s first major public relationship was with Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Us Weekly, the pair met while on set of an Armani ad in 2010. Immediately, they became an “it” couple in Hollywood, making red carpet appearances, embracing in PDA, and even being photographed together for Vogue España’s June issue in 2014.

Fans began speculating the two had split after Ronaldo didn’t accompany Shayk to the premiere of “Hercules” in 2014, and Shayk was absent at the annual FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2015. In January 2015, Us Weekly confirmed the two had called things off for good. Though neither person explicitly gave an explanation for their split, that same year Shayk told Spanish magazine Hola! that her number one relationship rule is faithfulness and honesty, leading some to speculate that there may have been infidelity in their relationship.

In 2016, Ronaldo began dating Georgina Rodriguez, and the pair share six children together.

Shayk was first linked to Bradley Cooper – who had just gotten out of a long-term relationship with English actor and model Suki Waterhouse – in the spring of 2015. However, the dating rumors weren’t confirmed until the spring of 2016 when the duo stepped out together as a couple at the L’Oréal Red Obsession party during Paris Fashion Week. Later that year, they shared that they were expecting! Soon after making her Victoria Secret Fashion Show debut, it was announced that Shayk was already well into her second trimester. Their daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper arrived in March 2017.

In an interview with Glamour Magazine, Shayk explained that she prefers to keep her personal life private. This led many to wonder if she and Cooper were engaged after she was spotted wearing a sparkling emerald and diamond ring on her finger.

Sadly, after four blissful years, Shayk and Cooper made the decision to go their separate ways in June 2019. The model opened up about their split to British Vogue in January 2020, sharing, “I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other. Life without B is new ground.” While the two are no longer together, they still have respect for one another. In 2021, Shayk told Elle that Cooper is “the most amazing dad.” Meanwhile, Cooper was last linked to political staffer Huma Abedin.

Shayk was first linked to West in June 2021 when she was seen celebrating his 44th birthday in France. The pair had actually known each other for quite a while, as Shayk starred in his 2010 music video for “Power” and his 2012 Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show.

In August of that year, though, their fling seemed to come to an amicable end. “It was never a serious thing that took off,” one source told People at the time. “Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn’t have time to date right now. He finds Irina amazing though,” another source said. “They remain friendly.” West has since moved on with Bianca Censori.

On July 21, Shayk was photographed getting in a car with Brady and driving to his Los Angeles home. She was also reportedly spotted leaving his house the next morning, and the pair appeared to reunite later that afternoon, sparking immediate dating rumors.

In June, a source told Page Six that Shayk and Brady first connected at art dealer Joe Nahmad’s wedding to Madison Headrick in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, and said that Shayk made “a beeline” for Brady during the festivities. However, a rep for Shayk told Page Six that the report was “totally fictional.”

Brady split from his wife of 13 years, Gisele Bündchen, in October 2022. Reps for Shayk and Brady did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
