The race is on! “The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition” has kicked off, and this year, it stars more than a bunch of Aussie celebrities. Also in the spotlight this year are a bunch of gorgeous locations. On “The Amazing Race Australia” 2023, 11 teams are racing around some of our planet’s most interesting regions and locations. But where was “The Amazing Race Australia” filmed? Spoilers: We’re going to reveal some details right now.
According to Beau Ryan, some of the locations in this season are gnarly as heck.
“We throw in 11 celebrity teams into some of the most hostile environments,” Beau said in an interview with “The Latch”.
“People who are living the good life — entitled, living the fast life, having fun with all their luxuries — have just been stripped bare and had cameras in their faces for over a month, and what you get is gold.”
However, while this Beau tidbit is enticing, it still leaves much to be desired. So let’s go a little bit deeper.

New Delhi, India
The first filming location of “The Amazing Race Australia” was New Delhi, India. New Delhi is the capital of India and is a bustling metropolis known for its rich history, diverse culture, and iconic landmarks.
In New Delhi, each contestant had to race Tuk Tuks, run across the city, and hunt down several local goods in a maze-like market. Due to New Delhi being a super hot place, these challenges were rough-as-guts for a number of the contestants.

In the Arga episode, the contestants raced to the Taj Mahal. On the way, they had to deliver some traditional chai tea to some office workers and compete in a Bollywood dance competition.
Kerala, India
The third filming location of “The Amazing Race Australia” was Kerala, India. Kerala is a picturesque state in southwestern India. This place is famous for its lush green landscapes, serene hinterlands, and beautiful beaches.
In Kerala, each team had to choose between painting a tiger on the belly of a local resident and a traditional kid’s game at the sports ground. A bunch of constants also had to learn how to drive a Tuk Tuk at a local driving school.
Langkawi, Malaysia
