When it comes to dating reality shows, we’re spoilt for choice.
From The Bachelor to Beauty and the Geek, it’s a wonder anyone is even single in Australia, considering there are so many opportunities to find love.
Now we can add another name to that growing list — Heartbreak Island.
Similar to Love Island, a group of hot singles will enter a tropical island to compete in a number of challenges and couple up.
16 contestants from all over the world will live together on a Fijian island in the hopes of finding lifelong love and winning a cash prize of $100,000.
As the show goes on, the lovebirds have the option to stay or stray from their partner to avoid elimination, and just like the name suggests, some people will be left devastated.
Season one of Heartbreak Island was won by Harry Jowsey, who also appeared on Too Hot To Handle.
The upcoming instalment will be hosted by TV and radio personality Clinton Randell, who expressed his excitement to Media Week.
“I cheered, laughed, teared up, stirred the pot, threw in a few twists, and made life-long friends. I can’t wait for viewers to see it,” he said.
So, When Does Heartbreak Island Start?
The show, which has been deemed as “too hot for TV”, is set to air on Thursday, August 4, exclusively on 7plus.
