The 2022 Grammys Are Right Around the Corner, So Here’s Where to Watch If You’re in Australia

The 64th Grammy Awards is set to air soon and after being pushed back from its original January 31st date, music fans cannot be happier. Music’s night of nights is expected to take place on April 3, and yes, all of our favourite stars will be in attendance.

Comedian and late-night host Trevor Noah will once again be fronting the ceremony, and the show will include performances by BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Brandi, Carlile and Brothers Osborne.

Everyone who is set to take the stage are also nominees with Lil Nas X and Carlile up for five awards, Brothers Osborne scoring two nominations and BTS earning one in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their song Butter.

However, among the most nominated is Eilish and Rodrigo, who are both up for seven awards including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Academy Award winner Jon Batiste leads the way this year with an impressive 11 nods after releasing his album We Are in 2021. His incredible achievements have placed him just behind Grammy record-holder Michael Jackson and Babyface, who each found themselves with 12 nominations in a single year.

Despite claiming to boycott the Grammys last year after being snubbed, The Weeknd is back in the game with three nominations for his work with Kanye West and Doja Cat

2021 was a great year for music, and some of the industry’s best artists are being recognised for their phenomenal work within the space. This year, Jay-Z became the most nominated individual in Grammys history thanks to his three nods, while Sir Paul McCartney is close behind as the second most nominated, with 81 in total, including two from this year.
