Already Missing On My Block? Here's Where You'll Be Able to See the Cast Next
It seems like just yesterday that we were meeting the On My Block crew for the first time! Before we knew it, almost four years passed, and the fourth and final season is already on Netflix. While we’ll miss seeing the continuing lives of Monsé, Ruby, Jamal, Cesar, and everyone else, we also can’t wait to see what the cast have in store next!
Several of the On My Block stars already have their next projects lined up, from small indies all the way to new entries in iconic franchises! This talented group definitely have a lot ahead of them – keep reading to find out where we’ll be able to see the main cast members after the final season.
Sierra Capri as Monsé Finnie
Capri’s role as Monsé definitely put her on the radar – it’s her first onscreen credit, and she’s the lead character! She hasn’t yet revealed what her next project will be, but we can’t wait to see what it is.
Jason Genao as Ruben "Ruby" Martinez Jr.
After a role in Netflix’s short-lived drama The Get Down, Genao found his breakout role playing Ruby for four seasons. According to his IMDb, he’s already got a few new projects in the pipeline. He’s in preproduction for a new TV series called Free to Fall, as well as for Ambush, an action movie starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Aaron Eckhart.
Diego Tinoco as Cesar Diaz
After four seasons of playing Cesar, Tinoco is moving to the big screen for his next project. According to IMDb, he’s signed on to Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, an upcoming action movie starring Sean Bean and Famke Janssen.
Jessica Marie Garcia as Jasmine Flores
Garcia already was building a thriving career before playing Jasmine. Her early résumé includes recurring roles on The Middle and Liv and Maddie, among others. She even has a new role lined up already! Catch Garcia as Camila on the Disney+ series Diary of a Future President.
Brett Gray as Jamal Turner
Gray may be bidding farewell to the character of Jamal, but he’s already saying hello to his next role! He’s voicing Dal, one of the lead characters on the upcoming animated series Star Trek: Prodigy on Paramount+.
Julio Macias as Oscar "Spooky" Diaz
Even before wrapping up his time playing Oscar, Macias already had another project going. He played singer-songwriter Pete Astudillo on Netflix’s Selena: The Series. According to his IMDb, he has an animated web series called Young Dario and the movie The Last Boat to Alcatraz coming up next.
Peggy Blow as "Abuelita" Marisol Martinez
The character of “Abuelita” Marisol is just the latest in Blow’s long career, which dates back to the 1980s and includes guest and recurring roles on a number of iconic TV shows. She has yet to announce her next project, but we hope to see her on the small or big screen soon!
