The Voice Australia kicked off with a bang on Sunday night, with outstanding performances and extraordinary talent taking centre stage.
But as we watch the show from the comfort of our couch, the question is, where is the show actually filmed?
During these unprecedented times, filming can be difficult, especially when the city you usually shoot in is locked down.
Thankfully, the blind audition, battle and knockout rounds of The Voice were filmed earlier in the year in Sydney, before stay-at-home orders were enforced.
But with the final being live, The Voice is having to put contingency plans in place to ensure a safe yet enjoyable live show.
The show itself is filmed at Carriageworks, Eveleigh in Sydney but in previous years, it’s been shot at FOX Studios in Moore Park and last year at Moorebank.
Previously, The Voice has been aired on Channel 9, but the latest season has gone through a massive overhaul.
Not only will it now be shown on Channel 7, but the only original judge that remains is Guy Sebastian.
The previous judges have been replaced by Jessica Mauboy, Keith Urban and UK artist, Rita Ora.
But despite the changes, the show still promises the same musical talent we have all grown to love.
1.91 million viewers tuned in to watch the first episode on Sunday night, 33% more than last year.
Safe to say, they’re off to a great start.
