Why Former Bardot Singer Tiffani Wood Joined The Summit
In the whirlwind world of showbiz, Tiffani’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the glitz and glam of pop star fame to the quiet comforts of domestic life, she’s seen it all. Now, she’s gearing up for her next big adventure: tackling the wilds of The Summit.
For Tiffani, fame came knocking early on when she found herself thrust into the spotlight as a singer on the hit series Popstars. As part of the Aussie girl band Bardot, she experienced the highs of number one hits, ARIA Award nominations, and global tours. But when the band parted ways, Tiffani faced a crossroads in her life.
“It felt like a huge chapter, but it only lasted for a short time,” she said in a press release. “When Bardot split, I became a mum, and that’s been my focus for the past 16 years. But I’ve realised there’s a piece of myself missing— I’m not just a mum, and I want to rediscover who I am beyond that.”
Life After Bardot
Despite the challenges of reinvention, Tiffani didn’t fade into obscurity. She found success as a solo artist and embraced motherhood wholeheartedly, raising six kids — Lillian, Harley, Beau, Ryder, Brooklyn, and Evie — in her cosy home in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. Balancing the demands of family life with her passion for music, Tiffani also launched a stage school for kids, staying true to her roots and giving back to her community.
Why Tiffani Joined The Summit
Now, as she prepares to embark on the adventure of a lifetime with The Summit, Tiffani is ready to step out of her comfort zone and reclaim her sense of self. “I’m going with the flow,” she admitted. “I don’t have a strategy, but I know I’m in it to win it.”
But don’t let her laid-back attitude fool you — Tiffani’s no pushover. She may hate liars in real life, but she’s willing to do whatever it takes to reach the summit and claim the prize money. After all, this journey isn’t just about conquering a mountain — it’s about rediscovering her strength, facing her fears, and embracing the unknown.
The Summit airs on Sundays at 7.00pm and continue Monday and Tuesday at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
