The Voice Australia is Set to Return and We Have a First Look!

After last night’s explosive The Voice Generations finale, Channel 7 are making sure we don’t have to wait too long for The Voice Australia, releasing a promo straight after the winner was crowned.

Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy are returning to the franchise in 2022 after a record-breaking run last year. The promo sees all four superstars performing on a custom-built, neon-lit stage surrounded by backup dancers and fireworks.

Directed by ARIA award-winning filmmaker James Chappell, this year’s season of The Voice is set to be its biggest yet.

The show, which used to air on Channel 9 before it was dropped, was quickly picked up by Seven and boy, did it pay off.

“Nothing delivered like The Voice,” Seven West Media CEO James Warburton said at the Upfronts presentation last year.

“Remember that show that was too old and tired? Well, it’s the #1 entertainment show in 2021… The Voice was the show Australians wanted and the show Australians needed in 2021.”

Last year’s season of The Voice Australia was the most successful since 2015, delivering over a million metro viewers per episode.

Taking home the win was Bella Taylor Smith from Team Guy, whose powerful voice captured the hearts of the nation.

Not only did she walk away with a Universal Music Australia contract, but she also pocketed a cool $100,000. It was one heck of a journey and we can’t wait to relive the experience all over again when The Voice Australia premieres.
