It’s been six months since Network Ten announced that the upcoming season of The Bachelor will feature not one but three men in an attempt to shake up the franchise.
Since the news was announced fans have been eagerly waiting for a glimpse of what’s to come, and finally, we’ve got it.
In a new promo clip for season ten of The Bachelor, which is set to premiere on January 9, it’s said to expect triple the amount of romance, drama and engagement rings.
And it’s not just the number of Bachelors that’s new, but the mansion itself has relocated from Sydney to Gold Coast, making for an all-new filming location.
The video opens with a shot of Felix Van Hofe, a 27-year-old marketing manager who is hoping to find “The One” through the show.
“What is love to me? I’ve never felt it,” he remarks. “That’s why I’m here.”
We’re then introduced to 35-year-old restaurant manager Thomas Malucelli, who was born in a town outside Florence, Italy.
“I’ve always been very romantic,” he says. “I think it’s just in my DNA.”
The last Bachelor is 25-year-old drummer Jed McIntosh, the youngest of the three. The musician is seen playing the drums, looking suave as all Bachelors do.
“I need a confident woman that can accept my lifestyle,” he shares. “I’m ready for it!”
We’re then shown a montage of women receiving roses, countless kisses and Felix being labelled as “an absolute player”.
Oh, and not to mention one of the ladies exclaiming, “How can he not see that she’s a f**king sociopath?!” presumably talking about a fellow contestant.
So bring on the drama and, of course, the love when The Bachelors premieres on January 9!
