We’re inching closer and closer to the premiere of The Bachelorette, and Channel 10 have been slowly introducing us to the contestants that will be entering the mansion.
The latest seems to be more suited for The Block than the dating show, arriving on the red carpet in his tradie uniform with a drill machine in one hand and blocks of wood in the other.
Carpenter Konrad certainly knows how to make an entrance, and it’s obvious he made quite the impression on Bachelorette Brooke Blurton.
“The tradie look just gets me,” she says, clearly smitten with the handsome tradesman. To really get into the spirit, the 26-year-old got down and dirty as she helped Konrad build a bench.
“I’m definitely in trouble when it comes to Konrad,” she said. “He was hot, he was really hot.”
With an air of mystery about him, Brooke said that he “left me curious, I love that.”
Brooke is making history by being the very first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette the franchise has ever seen. This year, the contestants entering the mansion will be a mix of men and women, but whether she’ll be able to find “The One” is yet to be seen.
This is the youth worker’s third stint on a reality show, as she hopes to find love. She was first introduced to viewers on The Bachelor back in 2018, during Nick Cummin’s season, but after an unsuccessful run, she gave Bachelor In Paradise a crack in 2019.
The Bachelorette Australia premieres on October 20 on Channel 10 and 10play.
